Chionodoxa luciliae, also known as Glory of the Snow, is among the first heralds of spring. This delightful bulb produces star-shaped blue flowers with white centres, brightening the garden when little else is in bloom. Growing to about 10–20 cm tall, it naturalises beautifully over time and may even self-seed, forming a soft carpet of colour year after year.
A perfect choice for rock gardens, lawns, beneath trees, or mixed spring borders. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid it, making it a carefree, charming addition to any garden.
