Strong, timeless and remarkably resilient – the Austrian Pine (Pinus nigra) stands as a symbol of endurance and natural beauty. This evergreen conifer features a dense, symmetrical crown and dark green, stiff needles that remain on the branches for up to eight years. The young trees have a pyramidal form, gradually becoming broader and more rounded with age.
Extremely hardy (down to –40 °C), tolerant of drought, wind, and air pollution, it thrives in both urban and rural landscapes. The bark is deeply fissured and dark grey-black, giving the tree a striking, textured appearance.
Prefers sunny locations with well-drained soil; once established, it requires minimal watering and care.
Each plant is grown in a container with a fully developed root system, ensuring easy transplanting and excellent establishment.
